Job Description
Minimum Qualification Requirements: To qualify for this position, you must meet the Specialized Experience for the series/grade to which you are applying. Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-15, you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience: 1. Interpreting and applying laws and regulations as well as formulation of policies, procedures, and guidelines for major environmental, natural resources, or similar compliance programs; 2. Overseeing, managing, and evaluating agency programs including contracting, grant management, or similar experience; 3. Using qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to collect and analyze data, evaluate program performance, and design courses of action to address deficiencies; 4. Resolving complex problems involving conflicting demands from such conditions as funding priorities, economic interest, public interest, or equivalent policy concerns; and 5. Collaborating with staff and management on programmatic issues, policy development, and advising senior level officials on technical and/or policy guidance pertaining to programmatic issues. -MUST MEET ALL- Note: Applicants must meet all specialized experience requirements to qualify.
