THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION OPEN TO THE FOLLOWING AREA OF CONSIDERATION (AOC): Area of Consideration: This position is open to Area 1 Only. Area 1: Current employees of the South Carolina Army National Guard (Tenure 1 and 2) Area 2: Current members of the South Carolina Army National Guard Area 3: Any individual eligible for membership in the South Carolina Army National Guard *Note- Temporary and Indefinite employees do not meet permanent tenure requirements and are not eligible for Area 1. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 36 months experience, education, or training identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT & NOTES: Incumbent is subject to uncommon tours of duty, rotational shift assignments and overtime duty, for which compensatory time off will be granted. May be required to fly in military or commercial aircraft for TDY purposes. 1. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. 2. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. 3.
