You will serve as a Clinical Counselor in the Fleet and Family Support Program of NAVSUPPACT BAHRAIN.
Job Description
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing ongoing needs assessments of counseling and advocacy programs to verify high quality services are consistently delivered to individuals and families; 2) Counseling mental health patients on domestic violence, child abuse or neglect, marriage and family discord, or crisis intervention and therapy, 3) Providing clinical services (e.g., risk assessment, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment plans) to assist individuals with mental health disorders; and 4) Providing direct services (e.g., clinical assessment, risk assessment, safety planning, crisis intervention, obtaining military or civilian protective orders, securing emergency food or shelter) to support and assist victims of domestic violence, child abuse, or sexual assault.
