Job Summary

You will serve as an INDTERDISCIPLINARY COMMUNITY PLANNER/ENGINEER/ARCHITECT in the of NAVFAC ROICC BAHRAIN. Relocation and recruitment incentives up to 25% may be authorized. The current workweek is Sunday through Thursday. Employees hired from continental U.S. will receive Sunday Premium Pay (computed at 25% of basic hourly rate, eight hours per week).

Applicants must meet the following basic education requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing planning recommendations for construction, demolition, energy, maintenance and facilities development projects; 2) Reviewing engineering/architectural drawings or specifications for construction, demolition, energy, maintenance, facilities development projects to identify inconsistencies; and 3) Using planning systems and automated data bases to capture spatial or geographic data to support facility planning. Dependent entry approval from Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command is required for all accompanied tours prior to extending the final job offer and prior to issuing Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders. Accompanied tours are not guaranteed.
