Job Summary
You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (CUSTOMER SUPPORT) in the Bureau of Navy Personnel Command of TSC PENSACOLA.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintaining IT inventory to ensure accountability of assets; 2) Writing and following standard operating procedures; 3) Managing a queue of customer support tickets and fulfilling support request; and 4) Investigating IT issues to resolve system problems. Physical Demands: Work is primarily sedentary, however some work may require walking, lifting, carrying, reaching and standing. May be required to travel in order to attend meetings, and conferences away from the local area. The position requires the employee to drive a motor vehicle. Work Environment: The majority of the work is performed in a typical office setting. The work environment includes everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions. Special safety precautions, when required will be briefed by the supervisor. Any applicable safety equipment over and above normal office attire will be provided.
