You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA located in Rota, Spain.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and submitting a budget or spend plan for management review; 2) Utilizing internal controls, leading internal/external audit sample submissions, providing guidance/recommendations on process improvements for audit compliance, and developing training to mitigate audit findings; 3) Utilizing federal appropriation law, Department of Defense financial management policy, and ability to interpret and provide guidance to Program Manager; 4) Using Standard Accounting and Reporting System/Field Level (STARS/FL), Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS), and Command Financial Management System (CFMS); and 5) Researching historical fixed costs, variable costs, and one-time costs, determining impact on total resources and developing recommendations for improvement.
