Job Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MARKETING BUSINESS MANAGER in the PROGRAM PLANNING and REVIEW DIVISION, BUSINESS and STRATEGIC PLANNING OFFICE of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: * Mastery level experience with the laws, regulations, and policies that affect the business environment of the shipyard including POM programming, DON budgeting, finance, mission funding, and resource balancing. * Experience providing leadership and management to coordinate activities involving diverse aspects of a Shipyard's operation. * Experience with overall shipyard operations to include waterfront, technical support, and general administration functions and processes. * Experience performing supervisory duties such as assigning and prioritizing work; providing technical guidance, personnel, performance and position management; identifying training needs; interviewing/selecting candidates for vacancies; recommending promotions and awards; resolving disciplinary issues and administering EEO policies.
