You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Payroll (N8412), Disbursing & Payroll (N841), Disbursing, Travel & Payroll (N84), Comptroller Department (N8) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in Civilian Payroll Processing functions and Customer Service Representative duties which may include Entering Tax withholding, entering direct deposit information, entering Voluntary Leave Transfer Program (VLTP) donations, entering time and attendance, processing mortgage eligibility forms, entering restored leave, family medical leave, annual and sick leave for new hires. Experience being responsible for key supporting documentation retention in association with ship timecards, time and attendance reports, and employee record updates. Experience in the interpreting and/or applying federal regulations relating to Civilian payroll functions, entitlements, and responsibilities. Experience analyzing payroll reports, identifying discrepancies, and performing time and attendance audits. Experience implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets.
