Job Description
DA-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Applying knowledge of security policies and procedures for the proper protection, handling and marking of controlled unclassified information (CUI) and classified information; 2) interpreting and applying security concepts, principles and practices to review, analyze and resolve difficult and complex security problems; 3) Leading Information Security programs using appropriate component policy and guidance; 4) Creating and administering a security education program to mentor and develop team members into proficient security specialists; 5) Briefing high-level leadership on areas of concern and providing viable solutions to problems. DA-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Applying knowledge of security policies and procedures for the proper protection, handling and marking of controlled unclassified information (CUI) and classified information; 2) Providing security related training and support to the workforce under area of cognizance; 3) Communicating effectively with leadership, team members, and responding to security incidents.
