You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience and competency must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading personnel assigned as Configuration Manager performing the five functions of CM: configuration management and planning, configuration identification, configuration change management, configuration status accounting and verifications and audits; 2) Establishing and maintaining a single, synchronized Configuration Database and Class Functional File (CFF) using Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Configuration Data Managers Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) hardware and software; 3) Reviewing asset designs for reliability, maintainability, and supportability considerations and make recommendations for improvement; 4) Performing Logistics Analyses, including Maintenance Task Analysis and Level of Repair Analysis; 5) Documenting results of Logistics Analyses in a government approved Logistics Product Database; 6) Ensuring all change order activity that impacts maintenance is processed, documented and communicated to ILS team; and 7 ) Providing cradle-to-grave product support planning and management of acquisition and sustainment logistics.
