Job Description

GS-11: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing internal audits to ensure compliance with professional accounting principles and sound financial management practices; applying auditing and accounting theories, concepts, standards, and techniques with applicable laws and regulations; preparing engaging briefing materials, including charts and graphs, to communicate audit status and findings. GS-09: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating sound judgement in applying guidelines to various audits and interpreting a range of policies and regulations; planning strategic approaches to gather, organize, and evaluate accounting data; documenting audit results and conducting analyses of data and statistics from diverse sources.
