Job Description
FOR THE GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying engineering, theories, principles, practices, and techniques to plan, design, layout, construct and maintain a wide range of structures and facilities; 2) Preparing project specifications and cost estimates; 3) Reviewing plans and specifications for accuracy and conformance with contractual requirements; and 4) Providing technical solutions for unforeseen problems during construction. FOR THE GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in the design and analysis for construction projects; 2) Assisting in the investigation and evaluation of construction engineering issues; 3) Assisting in the preparation of facility project specifications and cost estimates; and 4) Reviewing contract drawings, specifications, and requests for proposals for technical soundness.
