Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate: 1) Receiving, reviewing, and monitoring requests for court-martial records, ensuring compliance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA) requirements; 2) Analyzing and determining whether or not requested material is releasable, responding to requestors from acknowledgment through final disposition of the request, and providing periodic status reports and final action letters; 3) Preparing the final product to be released under FOIA/PA by conducting a technical, word-by-word review; and 4) Analyzing requested records and making independent decisions as to what information may be properly withheld under FOIA and PA exemptions.
