Job Summary
You will serve as a Interdisciplinary Engineer/Architect/Community Planner in the Planning, Design, and Construction Directorate of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND ATLANTIC.
Job Description
This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is for Engineers and Architects: Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) and Registered Architect (R.A.). Note -if yes, please provide a copy of your current registration with your application, one that shows an expiration date- a wall copy will not suffice. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the gs-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing, using, and improving Asset management (AM) and Infrastructure Integrated Product Support (IPS) policies, processes, and procedures; 2) Leading and participating in cross functional working groups and teams, with multiple stakeholders, business, product and support lines (including planning, real property, design, environmental, construction, contracting, and financial management) to Key customers from Weapons Systems Procurement, Program Management/Executive Offices (PMO/PEO), OPNAV Resource Sponsors, Fleet and Type Commanders; 3) Programming and determining resource requirements( e.g. integrating asset management technologies and investment strategies) for new Weapon Systems; 4) Utilizing automated systems and software (e.g. Navy Shore Facility Planning System, SimNavy, EPG, and iNFADS) to produce facility or community planning projects, products, and services (FPC, PBFR, SSER, FMP, FPD); AND 5) Serving as Contracting Officer's Representative, Technical Representative or Project Manager preparing statements of work and government estimates (e.g. reviewing and evaluating work performed under contract for accuracy, adequacy and completeness).
