Job Description
Selective Placement Factor (SPF): This position has a SPF which is current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) (0801, 0810, 0896 series) or Architect (RA) (0808 series) from any state, the District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. If you meet this requirement, you must provide a copy of your current registration with your application. A copy of a wall certificate that does not show current registration status will not serve to verify you meet this requirement. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing technical documents used in the planning, design, construction, alteration and/or repair of facilities in order to provide technical advice in planning and project development; 2) Developing plans, goals, and objectives for facility management projects, programs, systems, or operations (e.g., strategic plans, work breakdown structures, integration plans, performance measures, risk management plans, cost-benefit analysis); 3) Preparing and evaluating budget requirements for a branch or division; 4) Coordinating with other branches or divisions to solve conflicting requirements or customer issues.
