Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate: At the GS-07 Level: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Financial Management Analyst. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; (2) Entering data into automated systems; (3) Utilizing strong writing and oral communication skills to assist in making recommendations for financial data corrections; and (4) Providing entry level administrative support and financial support or financial transaction processing. At the GS-09 Level: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Financial Management Analyst. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Utilizing Microsoft Office applications, extracting data from automated systems and formatting into reports; (2) Utilizing strong writing and oral communication skills to independently make recommendations for financial data corrections; (3) Assisting with financial analysis and interpretation and evaluation of funding plans; and (4) Tracking funding, validating expenses, reviewing transactions in accounting system, and reconciling accounts.
