You will serve as a FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAVFAC NORTHWEST.

FOR GS-12: I have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following: 1) Applying technical principles, directives, and methods of facility management to maintain facilities and facility assets in good working order; 2) Considering financial regulations to determine the correct type of funding for facilities and equipment; 3) Identifying, prioritizing, and initiating projects to be placed on the Maintenance Action Plans (MAPs) and Maintenance Execution Plans (MEPs) for assigned facilities and programs; 4) Prioritizing and developing requirements for shop and contracted; and 5) Having experience working in MAXIMO or other computer based maintenance management programs.
