Job Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN) in the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, testing, managing, and maintaining network services; and, planning, developing, and integrating network systems and security plans. In addition to the specialized experience all individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the five competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled. Cybersecurity - Protect and defend information and information systems in order to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability. (AKA Information Assurance) System Administration - Administer information technology systems to ensure effective system operation. Information Technology Systems Analysis - Measure and identify the effectiveness of information technology products and services to maximize the performance of related systems. Technical Documentation Development - Develop and maintain technical and operational documentation to support hardware/software lifecycle (installation, operation, change and removal). Information Technology Customer Support - Provide functional and/or technical support to customers to ensure validation of requirements and delivery of Information Technology capabilities.
