Job Description
TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit Promotion and Veterans Employment Opportunity Act (VEOA) Status applicants must provide an SF50 Notice of Personnel Action that indicates proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. The SF50 must include the position, title, series, grade, step, tenure, type of service (Competitive or Excepted) and career status (career or career-conditional). No award SF50 will be accepted as proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. One year at the GS-14 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-15 grade level. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the education and/or experience required for the grade level(s) to which you apply. To qualify at the GS-15 grade level, you must meet the following: Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. You must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties: Providing administrative and technical oversight through intermediate project managers and/or team leads for project teams, technical specialists, and support staff; Applying methods of quantitative and/or qualitative analysis to measure the effectiveness and performance of financial management programs, policies, procedures, and/or practices; Communicating vertically and horizontally to ensure management, staff, and stakeholders have common understanding of the status of financial management program activities, important developments, and unusual or controversial issues; AND Preparing and/or reviewing responses to financial management audit findings to strengthen weaknesses and close gaps in internal controls to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.
