Job Summary
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE BENEFITS) in the CIVILIAN BENEFITS CENTER (CBC) of OFFICE OF CIVILIAN HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS.
Job Description
For the GS-13 level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: serving as an expert planner, analyst, and advisor on matters pertaining to retirements and benefits programs, recognizing problems and originating solutions to complex or unusual issues, implementing strategies that support program marketing and communications efforts, and developing reports and coordinating process improvements, while also demonstrating strong writing ability and advanced data analytics skills, including the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets, identify trends and patterns, and create data visualizations to inform program decisions and drive process improvements. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: serving as an expert planner, analyst, and advisor on matters pertaining to retirements and benefits programs, recognizing problems and originating solutions to complex or unusual issues, and implementing strategies that support program marketing and communications efforts, while also demonstrating solid writing ability and intermediate data analytics skills, including the ability to collect and analyze data, identify trends, and create reports to support program operations.
