Job Summary

You will serve as a Physical Security Specialist in the Force Protection (N34) division of COMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting physical security surveys, inspections and evaluations to advise managers on procedures for safeguarding information, materials and assets; 2) Analyzing and evaluating physical security systems/requirements data related to planning, assessments and exercises; and 3) Interpreting security program laws, directives, regulations, and guidance to assist subordinate organizations in establishing and operating internal security programs.
