Job Summary
This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Deputy Director, Trust Services in Anywhere in the U.S. (remote job). The purpose of this position is to evaluate matters regarding operation and administrative management of various programs in the areas of Internal Control, performance management, procurement, and real property management, Freedom of Information and Privacy Act, financial management and reporting, records management, and data collection.
Job Description
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for the Management and Program Analysis Series, GS-0343, https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0300/management-and-program-analysis-series-0343/ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: GS-09: Assisting in the analysis of program data to drive decisions, recommend improvements for operations, and showcase program performance. Developing and maintaining methods, techniques, and tools to analyze program, organizational, or mission performance data, systems and requirements. OR EDUCATION: Masters or equivalent graduate degree OR Two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. or J.D., if related. GS-11: Using applications and database systems to manage and analyze information from numerous reports and sources; Monitoring performance or compliance with established statutory, regulatory, or programmatic requirements; Presenting findings and recommendations, both orally and in writing. OR EDUCATION: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years (54 semester hours) of progressively higher level graduate education or LL.M if related. GS-12: Using data to analyze program and operational performance trends; collecting and researching data including geospatial data to drive decisions and for studies or evaluations of programs/operations/systems; Preparing reports and recommendations for management consideration; Presenting findings and recommendations, both orally and in writing. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date.
