Job Summary

About the Position: Incumbent serves as the Chief of a Military Branch. Incumbent is responsible for the vertical and horizontal integration of products to produce the projects and manage the programs assigned to the Branch. This position requires Certification with the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP). The individual will have two years to obtain and maintain the PMP certification upon entering the position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes tracking progress of construction projects/programs; work to resolve identified problems; and execute construction programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
