Job Description
AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: Primary consideration will be made from Areas 1, 2 and 4. If referrals are not made from the target category, subsequent referrals may next be made from Area 6 (if eligible). Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ARNG employees assigned to the Construction and Facilities Management Office. Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Army National Guard. Area 4: All current M-day soldiers of the Wyoming Army National Guard. Area 6: Current military members of the US Army, Army Reserves, or other states' Army National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Army National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position. TECHNICIAN INFO Type of Appointment: Indefinite, Temporary Tenure: Group 3 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm FLSA: Exempt Telework: The duties of this position require primary physical presence. Situational telework may be considered on a case-by-case basis. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work involves managing, supervising, leading, or performing administrative work that involves: a combination of work characteristic of two or more series in the Equipment, Facilities, and Services Group where no one type of work is series controlling; or work classified in this group for which no other series has been established. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must possess experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a knowledge of planning and programming to include master planning, project development, energy management, military construction programs, database management, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and real property. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least a GS-11 that provided experience in applying principles, concepts, and methods of equipment, facility, or service operations sufficient in planning assignments. Experience using well-established occupational methods and techniques to determine facility, grounds, equipment overhaul, maintenance, restoration, repair needs, etc. Experience in determination of resource needs, allocation of resources, and budgeting/funding needs. Experience in human resources management policy matters affecting the entire organization, with personnel actions affecting key employees to include experience coordinating work forces and resources and negotiating with management or clients concerning problems. NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.
