THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for an AIRMAN AND FAMILY READINESS SPECIALIST, Position Description Number T5302P02 and is part of the Air National Guard. Coordinate concurrently with the Force Support Squadron Commander (Director of Personnel (DP)) at each wing, Joint Force Headquarters - State (JFHQ-ST) Family Program Director, NGB Family Programs Office, and US Air Force/Major Command (MAJCOM) Family Readiness Directors.
This position is located in the office of Response & Recovery, Response Directorate, Disaster Emergency Community Division. The ideal candidate for this position will have advanced experience with planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, operation, maintenance, and/or enhancement of complex networks and associated hardware/software. They will also have specialized experience with classified networks, equipment and Communications Security (COMSEC).

The ideal candidate for this position will possess experience in establishing and utilizing performance measures and indicators to assess organizational inputs, outputs, efficiency, service quality, and overall outcomes. Technical and analytical skills are essential for this role.
This position is located within DHS, FEMA, Region 9, Office of the Regional Administrator, External Affairs Office located in Oakland, California. The ideal candidate for this position will possess strong writing and analysis skills and experience developing clear, accessible written communication materials for public audiences to convey complex messages and have experience in a variety of media delivery modes including traditional, digital media, and social media.
In this position you will work as a member Mission Support, Executive Office, Business Support Division, Action and Administrative Support Branch. The ideal candidate will have experience with reviewing programmatic documentation and providing advice to management on the evaluation of the programs, communicating and working effectively in a team environment and building and managing relationships with internal and external partners.
