This is a developmental position within the Office of Program Policy & Evaluation (OPPE), Directorate of Program Evaluation and Information Resource. OPPE is responsible for producing and screening official data and conducting internal program evaluations and audits regarding the effectiveness of MSHA programs in protecting the health and safety of miners in accordance with the legislative and regulatory requirements of the Federal mine safety and health laws, standards, and regulations.
This position is located in a district or area office within one of the nine (9) regional offices (RO) of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). The purpose of OFCCP is to enforce, for the benefit of job seekers and wage earners, the contractual promise of affirmative action and equal employment opportunity required of those who do business with the Federal Government.
