The Advanced Medical Support Assistant (AMSA) position provides clerical and administrative support to the patients and staff; this position is located in the VA Care in the Community Service in the West Palm Beach, Florida VA Medical Center.

The Advanced Medical Support Assistant (AMSA) with Outpatient Services Scheduling (OSS) work impacts the administrative aspect of patient care including access, scheduling/coordinating appointments using advanced clinic access principles, collecting and updating demographic and insurance information, patient processing and customer service.
The Advanced Medical Support Assistant (AMSA) is a specialized administrative role within the Health Administration Service (HAS), providing complex support within interdisciplinary care teams across multiple facilities, including the John J.
